Will my cat actually eat it?
Most do. The gel texture and broth base read as a treat rather than a supplement. If yours refuses, stir it into dry/ wet food for the first few days, and if that fails the 90-day guarantee covers you.
Does this replace drinking water?
No. Purrpuss tops up daily water intake, which matters most for cats on dry foods. Keep a fresh bowl available as usual.
Is it safe for kittens or senior cats?
Yes. PurrPuss is suitable for kittens from around 12 weeks and for senior cats. As with introducing any new treat, we'd recommend starting with a small amount to see how your cat gets on, and checking with your vet first if your cat has any existing health conditions.
My cat is on prescription food or medication. Can I still use it?
Generally yes, but check with your vet first if your cat is on a renal or urinary prescription diet.
How is the subscription billed?

How much does my cat need?
One tube a day suits cats of any size. For kittens under 12 weeks, speak to your vet before introducing any new treat. Introduce gradually over 2–3 days, and keep fresh water available as normal.

How does PurrPuss actually work?
It combines real, named electrolytes with a savoury broth base in a lickable gel. The broth encourages her to eat it; the electrolytes support how her body uses the moisture once it's in her.
How is this different from just adding water to her food, or a mousse/broth topper?
Plain water or broth adds moisture, but moisture alone still has to be absorbed and used. PurrPuss pairs real moisture with the electrolytes that help her body take it up.
My cat is picky — what if she won't eat it?
Cats rely far more on smell and texture than flavour alone — around 500 taste buds to our 9,000. PurrPuss is built around that: a smooth, savoury broth base designed to work with her senses.
Is this safe for cats with kidney disease, or alongside a prescription urinary diet?
